Graham + Sibbald Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants are delighted to announce the success of Khali Fraser who has achieved a qualification in Business and Administration at an SVQ Level 3.
Khali joined Graham + Sibbald in 2021 as an Administrator within the Residential department where her passion for property was quickly discovered. She has worked hard to complete her Modern Apprenticeship all while managing daily workload and ever changing business requirements. The Residential department in particular work at a fast pace so attention to detail and prompt responses to client queries are of utmost importance.
She commented, “A Modern Apprenticeship (MA) is a great place to help someone adjust to a new role and familiarise themselves with skills they may not be as confident in such as typing or communication. I enjoyed training towards my MA as it really helped me to perfect the skills I already had while building new ones at the same time. I now look forward to receiving my certificate and continuing to progress my role within Graham + Sibbald who have been incredibly supportive thus far.”
Graham + Sibbald are committed to the recruitment, support, development and retention of young people within the business. They have been recognised for their efforts and received a Silver Investors in Young People (IIYP) accreditation in late 2018 with the business now working towards their Gold award status.
Khali will shortly be joining the Graham + Sibbald Graduate Apprenticeship Programme which will see her move from the administrative side of the business to enrolling as a Student Surveyor with Edinburgh Napier University. The four year course will enable Khali to achieve a professional degree and begin what is sure to be an exciting career.
Les McAndrew, Senior Partner at Graham + Sibbald, said: “We have always been committed to providing staff with opportunities for growth and development at every stage of their career. We are delighted to have Khali with us and I look forward to seeing how she progresses in this next step in her career at G+S.”
