Graham + Sibbald, Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants, are delighted to announce the promotion of Calum McKenzie to Associate.
Calum joined Graham + Sibbald as a Senior Surveyor within the Residential department in January 2023. He has over six years of experience within the residential market having previously worked at another Chartered Surveying firm since 2017. Whilst at his previous employers, he obtained a Masters’ Degree in Real Estate Management and Investment and upon graduating he worked towards his APC Qualification obtaining Chartered Status at the beginning of 2020.
Born and raised in Edinburgh, Calum has an extensive knowledge of the city´s property market and particularly enjoys interacting and establishing relationships with both existing and new clients. He is looking forward to assisting the Partners in the Edinburgh office by providing a high level of service to our existing clients whilst also continuing to grow our client base.
On a daily basis he undertakes Home Reports, Energy Performance Certificates and Valuations for a number of parties, including lenders, Solicitor estate agents and private clients. Calum will also be assisting the team in rolling out a new portal for the residential department which promises to make the process of instructing Home Reports easier for clients.
Alongside this, Calum will be providing mentoring and training to surveyors that are early on in their career alongside management responsibilities such as staff training and staff appraisals.
