Student Placement
Libby Smith joined our Hotel + Leisure Team as a Placement Student in July 2024, shortly after the completion of her second-year exams and is based within our Edinburgh Office. Libby is currently in her third year studying Real Estate Surveying at Edinburgh Napier university, the course requires her to complete a full year’s placement as part of the curriculum to gain real-life experience.
Libby is learning lots of new skills on a daily basis, working with her fellow Surveyors in order to tailor her to follow Graham + Sibbald standard processes and practices. This method of on-the-job learning allows Libby to gain valuable surveying experience through working with clients and on projects, which will aid her in achieving her university degree.
