Architect
Matthew joined Graham + Sibbald in November 2024 and is based in the Manchester office. He qualified as a Registered Architect in April 2026, following completion of his Part 3 studies. Prior to this, Matthew graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2024 with a First Class Master of Architecture with Honours and was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal for his final year thesis, Stone Reform.
During his time at Graham + Sibbald, Matthew has worked across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, community-focused projects and transport infrastructure. Matthew has a particular interest in sustainable design, net zero strategies, and the wider social value of architecture. He has also been involved in community and user engagement workshops, helping to translate feedback into meaningful design principles that support inclusive, practical, and people-focused spaces.
Before joining Graham + Sibbald, Matthew worked at Falconer Chester Hall Architects in Liverpool as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, gaining experience on residential and commercial developments. He is skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite.
