Graham + Sibbald are proud to be supporting GIG21, a charitable concert event taking place on the 16th February 2019 to raise money for ‘Touched by Suicide’ and ‘Breathing Space Scotland’.
The concert has been organised by Lewis Hazel who was shocked by the statistics of mental health in young people across Scotland, and the devastating news of recent suicides of students that he had been at school with in St Andrews. Lewis wanted to help and raise awareness of the struggles that young people are facing in modern times, thus deciding that instead of a party for his 21st birthday, he would raise money for various Scottish mental health charities.
John Duthie, Property Manager at Graham + Sibbald, said: “Lewis’ dedication is truly inspiring and we are delighted to be able to support this charitable event. At Graham + Sibbald we are known for our support and dedication towards young people within the business, so being able to donate towards local charities that support young people with their mental health is fantastic. We wish Lewis every success in his efforts to raise £21,000 and also wish the very best of luck to those performing on the night.”
