Senior Associate Director
Hayden joined Graham + Sibbald following the acquisition of Aitchison Raffety in 2025. He started at Aitchison Rafferty in 2014, having previously worked in planning departments for several local authorities, including the London Boroughs of Harrow and Newham, and St Albans City and District Council. He has extensive experience handling a wide range of planning developments, including residential, commercial, employment and mixed-use schemes, as well as pre-application advice and appeals through Written Representations, Hearings and Inquiries.
In January 2019, Hayden was promoted to Associate Director. His work includes managing and submitting planning applications, development appraisals, site promotion within emerging Local Plans, and assisting with enforcement matters. Since joining Aitchison Rafferty, he has contributed to a variety of notable projects, including large-scale mixed-use schemes, high-rise office conversions, heritage-led developments, an inquiry for a retirement village, and numerous Green Belt residential projects. Hayden’s expertise supports clients in delivering practical, strategic solutions across complex planning challenges
