Following a comprehensive open marketing campaign, Graham + Sibbald are delighted to have concluded a deal to Condor Hotels who have acquired the iconic Bulkeley Hotel which is situated in the town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
Prominently located on the seafront in the historic town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey, the impressive Grade I listed property is a landmark within the North Wales hospitality landscape. Originally built in 1832 as a Georgian showpiece by Sir Richard Bulkeley, the hotel was commissioned to host the 13-year-old Princess Victoria during her visit to the Royal Beaumaris Eisteddfod and Regatta.
The 43-bedroom Bulkeley Hotel has long been a cherished fixture within the local community and the wider tourism offering of North Wales. The sale marks the end of an era following the retirement of its long-standing owners, Bernard and Carole Rhodes, and signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the property.
The transaction was successfully brokered by Martin Davis of Graham + Sibbald. The acquiring company, Condor Hotels, is led by Yvonne Jackson, who brings a strong track record in the development and management of premium hospitality assets across North Wales and the wider UK.
