Senior Associate Director
Philip is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 17 years’ experience in building surveying, building safety, and façade consultancy. He studied Building Surveying at Northumbria University and joined G+S in October 2026.
Prior to joining G+S, Philip has worked for a range of large and small companies and consultancies gaining extensive experience in project delivery, contract administration, asset management, refurbishment, and commercial property consultancy. He has previously specialised in delivering façade remediation schemes, PAS 9980 assessments, EWS1 reviews, and major capital projects throughout the UK.
Philip heads up the Building Surveying team in Newcastle and Northeast England and works with clients across both the public and private sectors, delivering complex surveying, managing multidisciplinary teams, and providing strategic advice on building risk and compliance matters.
