Approach

Our Agency team drafted and issued a suitable requirement email which was sent out to a strategic and targeted email group. Local Agents were contacted in a bid to extend initial reach and source any suitably interested parties. A full marketing campaign was then launched which included targeted mail shots, board installation on A96 trunk road and on-site boards.

The relevant local Council were then contacted and requirements were discussed with our in-house Planning department.

Key Challenges

Time restrictions were one of the biggest challenges, alongside the immediate requirement to obtain planning consent and secure a building warrant. A number of parties were involved throughout the project who all required frequent and detailed updates.

Arranging viewings proved to be initially difficult in a time where economic uncertainty was affecting the market due to Brexit.

Results

Enercon were secured as a tenant and will be using the unit as their flagship Scottish distribution and training centre. The renewable giant will employ 20 permanent staff, boosting the local economy. The letting was featured in The Inverness Courier in February 2020 –

Key Message

Strong and regular communication ensured all parties were aware of the ongoing changes throughout the deal and kept in the loop at all times. This allowed the deal to progress with limited issues and meet the time constraints outlined by our Client initially.
