Graduate Surveyor – Hotel + Leisure Valuation

We are seeking to recruit a Graduate Surveyor to join our Glasgow Hotel + Leisure Valuation team.

Skills + Experience

No previous experience is required, however, ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate desire to want to work within a Surveying practice and have the proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The team value a range of Hotel + Leisure asset types across the whole of the country. These subjects are valued having regard to trading potential. An insight or interest in hospitality and a sound understanding of numbers and ability to use excel would be beneficial but not essential.

The Role

The role will involve assisting with a range of inspections, valuations and reports on assets in the sector. This includes guest houses, lodges, hotels, pubs and restaurants located throughout the whole of the country. Typical work will include assisting with bank valuations for loan security and other private client instructions for purchase and other purposes.

Role Requirements

Relevant RICS accredited degree or studying towards same is required.

Ability to maintain up to date knowledge of the current property market and economy, the Firm’s products, services and processes to deliver excellent client care.
