Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce our newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor, Gregor Stewart (Glasgow) who has successfully passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
Graham + Sibbald aim to have all staff qualified to the highest level possible, and so, our APC candidates are fully supported and mentored by key staff members within the business who have received training through the RICS to become qualified APC Assessors.
Gregor joined Graham + Sibbald in 2018 and graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a First Class Honours BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying in 2019. With previous experience in commercial and residential property development, he brought prior knowledge to the role which allowed him a head start with the building surveying team and kick-started his APC studies. Gregor regularly undertakes Building Surveys, Schedules of Condition, Technical Defect Analysis reporting, Dilapidation Surveys and Negotiation and Reinstatement Cost Assessments. Gregor also currently delivers Contract Administration duties on a number of projects for both new and existing clients and is committed to delivering a high standard of service.
Gregor commented: “I’m extremely pleased to have passed my APC and now be a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor. The level of support and encouragement I received throughout the APC process was instrumental in allowing me to further my knowledge and develop my skillset within the building surveying department across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. I’m excited to see what my future holds within Graham + Sibbald going forward, alongside my colleagues.”
Les McAndrew, Graham + Sibbald Senior Partner, commented: “The Firm are committed to providing training and offering career development for all staff members. We are pleased that Gregor has gained his Chartered status and look forward to seeing him take this next step in his career with Graham + Sibbald.”
