We are seeking to recruit a Graduate to join our St Albans Commercial Agency Team.
The Role
The role will primarily involve supporting the St Albans team across a range of commercial agency and lease advisory instructions within St Albans, Hertfordshire and beyond. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the commercial property market and develop your knowledge and fee-earning capabilities.
The role will involve assisting with property inspections, market research, preparing property particulars, agency instructions, lettings, disposals and acquisitions, as well as supporting the team with lease advisory and wider commercial property matters.
The successful candidate will be encouraged and mentored to develop their skills and knowledge, with the opportunity to progress towards a senior surveyor level and build strong client relationships over time.
This role will be required to work from our St Albans office 5 days a week.
Skills + Experience
We are looking for a sociable, friendly and enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop a career within Commercial Agency and Surveying. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in property, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
Previous experience within a property, sales or high street agency environment would be beneficial, although this is not essential. We would also welcome applications from candidates with experience in a professional office environment who are looking to develop their career within the property sector.
Candidates should be confident dealing with people, commercially minded and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Role Requirements
A relevant degree in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or a related discipline would be beneficial but is not essential. Previous experience within the property industry, commercial property, high street agency or sales would be advantageous.
A genuine interest in the property market, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach are essential.
The successful candidate must hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to their own car.
Candidates should be local to Hertfordshire and able to commute to our St Albans office on a daily basis during the initial period of the role.
