Graham + Sibbald are delighted to announce the promotion of; Andrew Hitchen, Daniel Tucker, Gosia Kilpatrick, Joe Helps, Jonathan Steele, Michael Gill and Rosie MacDonald to Associate level.
Graham + Sibbald has over 240 employees and 23 partners working across its 17 UK offices.
Andrew Hitchen is a Chartered Surveyor with over 28 years’ experience of experience working within Perth and Central Scotland. Specialising in residential surveys and valuation, Andrew carries out a broad spectrum of surveys on a daily basis for the purpose of home reports, EPC’s and more on behalf of a range of private clients, lenders and estate agents. He is a member of the RICS and also an RICS registered valuer. Born and raised in Perth, where he still resides, Andrew draws on his local knowledge in order to provide a high quality of service to all clients.
Based within our Manchester office, Daniel Tucker is a Building Surveyor who studied Building Surveying at The University of Salford and graduated in 2012 with First Class Honours. He joined Graham + Sibbald in May 2020, following thirteen years with the world’s largest building protection manufacturers. Daniel boasts a strong technical background, particularly in the disciplines of product chemistry, insulation, roofing and structural waterproofing. In addition, he has a wealth of experience in defect analysis, bespoke detailing, specification writing and much more.
Gosia Kilpatrick is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in Residential surveys and valuations. Following the completion of her Master’s degree in Real Estate at the University of Glasgow, she started her career in valuation in Dubai, before returning to Scotland and joining Graham + Sibbald in 2018. Based within the Glasgow residential team, Gosia’s remit largely involves undertaking various valuation projects, including commercial portfolios, land, legal executries and valuations for taxation purposes. She also undertakes Home Reports and RICS Home Buyers Reports for solicitors, estate agents and individual clients.
After joining Graham + Sibbald in 2016, Joe Helps became a fully Chartered Surveyor in April 2020 after undertaking the firms Graduate Apprenticeship Programme. Having juggled work and full time study for 3 years, Joe very successfully graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Real Estate Management from The University College of Estate Management (UCEM) in December 2019. Joe specialises in Edinburgh’s Commercial Property Sector and prides himself on providing clients with high quality service and advice on investments, acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals.
Jonathan Steele has been working with Graham + Sibbald since 2015 after graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a Property Development and Valuation BSc (Hons). Having initially worked within the Agency team, Jonathan shifted his focus towards the Commercial Valuation side of the business and provides various valuation survey and reporting services for a range of local, regional and national scale clients, including portfolio asset valuations.
Working within our Edinburgh Residential department, Michael Gill is a Chartered Surveyor with a wealth of experience within the property sector. He studied Property Development and Valuation at Edinburgh Napier University and was awarded a 2:1 Honours Degree before joining Graham + Sibbald in 2016. He specialises in Residential Valuation and carries out a number of surveys for the purpose of home reports, mortgage valuations, EPC’s and more. These reports are carried out for all major lenders in the UK as well as many local solicitors, estate agents and private clients.
Rosie MacDonald is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the Commercial property market. She studied Land Economics (BSc) at Paisley University and commenced employment with Graham + Sibbald in 2006. While specialising in commercial valuations, Rosie also has an extensive background in professional services and carries out a variety of surveys for the purposes of Bank Lending, Pension Funds, Private Clients and more. Her knowledge, skill set and expertise are key to the overall success of our West Region Valuation team.
