Senior Director
Gerard Barry leads the Transactional and Capital Markets function at Graham + Sibbald, heading the firm’s commercial agency department and overseeing all management and strategic activity within the team. He works closely with the Executive Board on company-wide strategy while driving growth initiatives to expand the firm’s commercial agency offering nationally.
With over 25 years’ experience in the commercial real estate market, Gerard undertakes and oversees all aspects of commercial agency, including property inspections, marketing strategy, viewings, transaction negotiations and completion. He plays a key role in acquiring new instructions, developing marketing initiatives, and representing the firm at networking events, working closely with other professional advisers and clients alike.
Gerard collaborates extensively with other departments across Graham + Sibbald to cross-sell services and deliver integrated property solutions. He is recognised both internally and externally for his extensive market knowledge, contacts and experience, particularly within specific sectors and geographical locations.
Prior to specialising in commercial real estate, Gerard’s career spanned residential property, social housing and construction, providing him with a broad and well-rounded industry perspective. He is based between the firm’s London and Hertfordshire offices and continues to play a central role in the expansion of Graham + Sibbald’s commercial agency services across the UK.
