With more than 35 years of experience in the hotel and licensed leisure sectors, Martin has worked extensively with many of the industry’s leading owners, operators and brands. He has been involved in a wide range of high-profile property and business transactions, building a strong reputation for delivering expert advice across the hospitality market.
In addition to strategic acquisition and disposal advice, Martin provides operator search and selection services to a diverse client base, including independent and corporate hotel owners, operators, and investors, as well as high-net-worth individuals, banks, accountants, turnaround specialists, insolvency practitioners, solicitors, and other industry professionals.
Having joined Graham + Sibbald in October 2021 Martin is based in the firm’s Manchester office, where he plays a key role in expanding the company’s hotel and leisure sector presence across England and the wider UK.
Martin is an Associate Member of the Institute for Turnaround and has supported numerous clients with strategic turnaround and recovery advice. He is also committed to the long-term success of the hospitality sector and was recently appointed as an Ambassador for the Accessible Hospitality Alliance, where he promotes greater awareness of accessibility and the importance of creating inclusive, welcoming environments for all guests.
