Chartered surveyor Graham + Sibbald has hired David Officer as Director of Project Management. David will be based out of the Edinburgh office and work closely with the Building Surveying team.
David obtained a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from The University of Edinburgh as well as a PGDip in Property + Construction Management from Edinburgh Napier University and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. His career has seen him work with and lead on the delivery of large and complex projects for a wide range of clients including The City of Edinburgh Council, Fettes College, Royal London Group and Heriot-Watt University, with his most recent project being the multi award winning Marischal Square – a joint venture mixed-use development in Aberdeen City Centre for Muse Developments.
David’s remit will be to secure new opportunities working with clients to help them navigate through the delivery of commercial new build and refurbishment projects from initial concept design to procurement, then through construction to completion and handover.
David commented: “I am keen to use my experience across a number of sectors to benefit the Clients of Graham + Sibbald and enhance the team’s offering as demand increases for Project Management services. This next step is my career is one that I am very much looking forward to.”
With over 30 professional staff in employment within the Building Surveying + Architectural services team across their office network Graham + Sibbald are continuing to expand their offering of services and locations. Graham + Sibbald has 200 employees and 24 partners working across its 16 UK offices in Scotland and England.
