The hotel provides 11 stylish, boutique-style letting bedrooms and the hotel includes a lounge bar, snug/private dining room and restaurant.  The mature gardens feature short, woodland walks and hideaways to relax in.

Pitlochry is well known as a leisure destination with a plethora of activities, in the locality, for visitors and tourists to enjoy year-round.

The Saorsa Group Limited opened Soarsa 1875, the UK’s first vegan hotel and restaurant, in 2019 to a hail of publicity featuring in Conde Nast Traveller, the National Geographic and CNN.  The business saw growing success over the 7 years it was open and has now been sold as a going concern to B & T Hotels Ltd.

The new owners are Dean Bucknell and Paul Tillbrook who, whilst changing the hotel’s name to the Birchwood Pitlochry, will be trading the business as usual at the property, including remaining wholly plant-based until mid-November.  Going forward, Birchwood Pitlochry, will focus on creating experiences for all that are relaxed, luxurious, and deeply connected to the Highlands.
