Scottish chartered surveyor and property specialist Graham + Sibbald has assisted in securing new premises for St. Andrews Bewing Co. in Dundee.
The latest project for the rapidly expanding brewery will see a new location in the heart of the city centre, with premises situated in the former arcade at Dundee’s Caird Hall.
Thanks to the exciting waterfront redevelopment project, the brewing company’s new Dundee location will enjoy views of the V&A Dundee, Slessor Gardens and the River Tay.
Commercial Associate at Graham + Sibbald, Garth Davison said, “This is one of the biggest licence trade lettings in the city in recent years. The former arcade at Dundee’s Caird Hall provides a unique and excellent opportunity for the ever expanding brewery to invest in Dundee at this exciting time for the city.”
As well as Graham + Sibbald, local firms Thorntons Solicitors and Andrew Black Design have also supported the project.
Tim Butler, St. Andrews Brewing Company said, “We cannot wait to get started on the fit-out and to open so we can be part of this amazing, re-energised city. Without partnering with local firms, Graham + Sibbald, Thorntons Solicitors and the creative talents of Andrew Black Design, this project would not be the exciting opportunity of growth for our company that it is. We look forward to connecting with the people of Dundee and being part of the community.”
The Caird Hall project will be the 5th premises for the brewery, joining the portfolio that included the recently acquired bar on North Street, St. Andrews and existing properties, South Street, St. Andrews as well as Potterrow and The Outhouse, both in Edinburgh.
It’s anticipated that the new Dundee venue will be open by Christmas 2018.
