Graham + Sibbald Hires New Building Surveying Director to Assist Busy Team

UK Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants Graham + Sibbald welcome David McLay, Director to the Glasgow based Building Surveying team.

David has almost 30 years of experience within the Building Surveying industry, 26 of these as a Chartered Surveyor. Prior to joining G+S David worked at Workman LLP as a Partner, having this experience has allowed David an easy transition into the day-to-day workings of Graham + Sibbald.

In his day-to-day David’s focus is on Building Surveying and Project Management, taking a keen interest in Building Contract Administration, Dilapidations and Technical Due Diligence. He also has experience working with a variety of clients; from private landlords and property developers to financial and public sector bodies.

David commented, “I am delighted to have joined Graham + Sibbald and start my next chapter in my career with such a well-respected organisation. Having the support of the team in Glasgow but also being able to work with other departments and offices has made the transition into this role easier.”

Supported by Neil MacFarlane (UK Head of Technical Services) and Andy Thomson (Head of Glasgow Building Surveying) they added:

“It is great to have David join our team in Glasgow, his knowledge and experience will make him an asset to the Building Surveying department. We look forward to continuing to work with him to strengthen the Glasgow based team but also Building Surveying services across the UK.”
