Home Reports

When a property is sold in Scotland is has to be marketed with a Home Report. This is a pack of three documents: a Single Survey, an Energy Report (or EPC) and a Property Questionnaire. We have specialists in each of our offices who can provide a fast and efficient Home Report service.

Residential Surveys

We provide full surveying services for residential property. Our detailed surveys provide a comprehensive assessment of the construction and condition of all elements of a building’s fabric. We identify shortcomings and defects and provide advice on appropriate remedial measures and actions to remove deficiencies.

Residential Valuations

We provide residential property valuations to both buyers and lenders, for mortgage, insurance and other requirements. We can also provide valuations for a wide range of specialist reasons such as for taxation, pre-sale or matrimonial purposes. We will be happy to advise you on the type of valuations that will best meet your needs.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)

An EPC gives information on how energy efficient a building is and sets out how this can be improved. An EPC must be provided when a property is sold or rented. We have specially trained surveyors in each of our offices who can prepare EPCs.

RICS Homebuyer Surveys

This service provides a standardised report for instructing parties along with our opinion of Market Value. We will be happy to talk you through the report before and after inspection and advise you its implications.
